Heidi Culbertson is the founder and CEO of Marvee, an Alexa-powered platform purpose-built for older adults and caregivers. Founded while caring for an elder parent, newly blind due to macular degeneration, Marvee’s mission is focused on easy communication for older adults, family and their community with voice-designed services to stay informed and actively engaged. Heidi presented Marvee as a finalist at the 2016 Silicon Valley Boomer Venture Summit, and the 2017 AARP Innovation@50 LivePitch event.
Prior to founding Marvee, Heidi spent the previous 25 years at the forefront of the wireless industry, mobile apps, and the Internet of Things cultivating deep experience in innovation strategy, early market adoption and solution design. Heidi has lead national sales, business development and product teams within ground floor startups, growth-stage companies and Fortune 100 companies. Heidi is a graduate of Miami University (OH), serves as guest voice for the Longevity Network, consults on voice-first strategy, and volunteers as a mentor coach for young entrepreneurs.
