Ted Fischer, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Ageless Innovation

Ted has spent his career working with, building and leading collaborative teams that drive meaningful business relationships

resulting in profitable sustainable growth. He joined Hasbro in early 2015 as Vice President of Business Development to help

lead the identification and execution of new growth platforms, primarily focused in the Health and Wellness space.

At Hasbro, Ted led the launch of Hasbro’s JOY FOR ALL brand in 2015, the company’s first product line developed specifically for

older adults. He also led the launch of NERF ENERGY, a co-branded product with UnitedHealthcare, promoting exergaming in

underserved communities, allowing kids to gain screen time and power their digital avatar based on their own healthy activity.

Prior to joining Hasbro, Ted was founder and president of Fischer Consulting Group, LLC, a strategy consultancy working with

education, industry and nonprofit leaders to create sustainable revenue, operating and funding strategies.

He gained critical education industry experience as the president and COO of ConnectEDU (CDU) from 2009 to 2013. CDU was

a leading provider of education technology solutions and services connecting learners to postsecondary and career

opportunities.

Prior to joining ConnectEDU, Ted was a partner at Providence based, Bay Capital Advisors, a boutique investment banking firm

specializing in assisting small to midsized companies raise capital. During his tenure at Bay Capital the firm was awarded a SBIC

license from the SBA, raised private capital and successfully launched BCA Mezzanine Fund 1. The firm subsequently raised and

is investing BCA Mezzanine Fund 2 and Ted currently serves on the advisory board of the firm.

Ted was co-founder and vice president of OneNeck IT Services Corporation, a market leading hosting and managed IT services

firm to middle market companies. He co-led a management buyout of the firm in 1999 and successful private equity

recapitalization and exit in 2005.

Fischer spent the first twelve years of his career in various management and executive roles at Duro Industries, the largest

commission textile dyeing and finishing company in the U.S, ultimately as COO having P&L responsibility for the nearly $300M

business.

Ted holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College double majoring in Economics and Philosophy and is a graduate of

the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School

 

Fischer is a founding board member and current board chair of Year Up Providence. He serves on the BCA Mezzanine Fund, LLC

Advisory Board and is Campaign vice-chair for Moses Brown School’s $60MM capital campaign where he served on the Board of

Trustees for more than a decade. He served for 10 years, including 2 years as president, on the Harvard Business School Global

Alumni Board. He recently joined the board of Positive Tracks

He is married to his college sweetheart, Lisa, and they spend most of their free time watching and supporting their three

college aged children, Robbie, Remy and Molly, in their many activities. Ted is a self-proclaimed fitness fanatic and will play

anything anytime. He will run his 7th Boston Marathon in 2018
