John Cochrane is president and chief executive officer of HumanGood, the sixth-largest nonprofit senior living provider in the country. HumanGood’s mission is to inspire the best life for our residents, team members and everyone in our HumanGood family. Our organization was founded on the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to live life with enthusiasm, confidence and security, regardless of physical, social or economic circumstances.
John first joined HumanGood in 2009 and his vision for growing the mission and focusing on innovative thinking has helped transform the organization from six life plan communities in Southern California, to now 23 life plan communities and 99 affordable housing communities in eight states. Previously, John was chief operating officer for Lifespace Communities and he has his law degree from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Northern Illinois University. In addition to leading HumanGood, John serves on the board of ReSurge International. He currently resides in Manhattan Beach, California, with his wife Lisa and their
labradoodle, Harvey.
