Jesse Walters is the CEO of Hillendale Home Care, a private-pay home care company he acquired in late 2022 as a single Walnut Creek branch. Since then, he has grown it organically into a multi-site Bay Area operation approaching $30 million in annualized revenue.
Jesse started in the industry as a caregiver while in college and has spent the past 23 years building home care businesses, including 11 years as a partner at Home Care Assistance (now TheKey). That experience shaped his operating philosophy: hire exceptional people, align them around strong processes, measurable goals, and meaningful incentives, then build reputation, relationships, and results in each local market. Hillendale is the clearest expression of that philosophy.
Today, he leads Hillendale’s next phase of expansion while advising and investing in companies focused on the future of aging and home care technology. Jesse lives in Oakland with his wife and three young children. A few mornings each week, he starts the day with sunrise beach volleyball before heading into the office by 8:30 a.m.
