For over 35 years Frank has been based in Tokyo or Hong Kong and leading investment banking deals across Asia. For the last 20 years he has been in Tokyo.
At Eight Peaks Partners in Tokyo, Frank raises capital for private companies and assists Japanese companies with their required sustainability reporting. He is also active at the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan, where he founded the Alternative Investment Committee and has served on the Board of Governors since January 2020.
Frank works closely with The Carter Group-JMRN and its Living Best – Aging with Technology accelerator as Head of Investor Relations, where he focuses his expertise on matching the right investors with innovative agetech startups entering the Japanese market.
Prior to the establishment of Eight Peaks in 2021, he was a fund placement agent specializing in alternative investments. He founded and managed Triple A Partners Japan, an investment advisor and securities broker dealer registered with the Japan Financial Services Agency. During his career, Frank has held leadership positions at HSBC Securities, Bank of America, and other American investment banks. From 2004 to 2021 he led teams placing over USD 4 billion of private equity, venture capital, infrastructure funds and hedge funds with investors in Japan.
Frank is an American citizen, born and raised in Tokyo, and a permanent resident of Japan. He was educated primarily in the USA and received a BA from Princeton University.
