Author, producer, entrepreneur, and Wired magazine co-founding editor Linda Jacobson is a founding team member of KasanaCare, offering medical cannabis education and products for eldercare. She also serves as VR/AR venture partner for Accelerator Ventures. Since 1990 she has taught professionals about emerging tech in healthcare and education. Since 2012 Linda’s focused on eldercare, age-tech, and the “Art of Brain Maintenance.” She has helped hundreds of people to choose care providers, and teaches tech workshops for senior-living residents.
As a microcelebrity for her past pioneering work in virtual reality and user interface R&D, Linda has lectured at universities and medical research centers worldwide, published two books and written dozens of successful patent applications, and helped introduce VR to organizations ranging from Procter & Gamble and BMW to Lego and HRH the Princess of Thailand. Today Linda is a Board director at the Virtual World Society. A classic Boomer and former music-industry photographer, Linda has spent quality time with Jerry Garcia, Allen Ginsberg, Ken Kesey, and Bill Graham (not simultaneously), may their memories be a blessing.
