Robin Raff is Founder & Chief Strategist of Pulse Healthcare Marketing, a healthcare marketing consultancy and boutique advertising agency. Robin leads creative and targeting strategy on digital and traditional media. She leverages her deep knowledge of the healthcare industry and marketing which allows her to quickly navigate challenges and identify unique opportunities for her clients.
A seasoned marketing executive, Robin has held leadership positions both within premier advertising agencies and healthcare organizations for 30+ years. Her unique perspective – working at agencies and inside a healthcare organization – brings fresh, relevant and effective marketing solutions, and a strong network for business development.
Robin’s experience includes leadership positions at renowned ad agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather Direct, FCB Direct, G2 Direct & Digital, Wunderman, and Hill, Holliday, Connors Cosmopulos. As VP, Client Services at Age Wave Impact she marketed a broad range of healthcare products and services targeting the 50+ segment.
Robin held the role of Director of National Medicare Marketing for Kaiser Permanente from 2011 to 2016 where she brought new channel and creative marketing solutions that exceeded membership goals each year. Some of the other healthcare clients served by Robin’s expertise over the years have included UnitedHealthcare, multiple BCBS plans, Oticon Hearing, Essilor Lenses, AliveCor and Providence Health & Services.
Robin has her MBA in Marketing from Golden Gate University, SF, and her BA in Business Administration from SUNY New Paltz. She is also an International Coach Federation-trained coach and uses these skills in coaching her clients through change and growth. She is a member of Adaptive Leaders in Healthcare, California’s leading CEO Groups / Executive Forums organization for healthcare business leaders.
Robin lives in Walnut Creek and serves as a board member for the Contra Costa Crisis Center where she also offers pro bono marketing services.
