
Susan Hoffman builds innovative educational programs for older adults and conducts interdisciplinary research projects on learning across the lifespan, inter-generational dialogues and co-designing. At Berkeley since 2007, Hoffman heads the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of 3000 members with 70 faculty teaching 110 courses annually in two locations, Berkeley and Lafayette. As a poet and an AFI trained filmmaker, her focus is on the older protagonist.
